You're constantly battling noise, bad acoustics, or unclear mixes. You're doing your best with what you’ve got but your room works against you, not for you.
Tech Trouble
You’re not sure how much power your gear needs or if your setup is even safe. Electrics, wiring, and gear compatibility all feel like a mystery.
Acoustic Confusion
You’ve Googled “how to treat a room” more times than you can count. But panels, bass traps, absorption, and diffusion just seem like overcomplicated noise.
Budget Panic
You want pro quality, but you’re not ready to drop $30,000 on a studio degree or hire a team of contractors. You need a realistic, step-by-step plan not theory that flies over your head.

What’s Really Holding Your Sound Back?
It’s not your gear.
It’s your space.
Your room is the biggest factor in your sound and most metal musicians overlook it.
You don’t need a $10,000 mic if your room is untreated.
You don’t need more plugins if your speakers aren’t calibrated.
You don’t need to guess anymore.
You need Metal Studio Designer.
This Course Isn’t for the Faint of Heart.
This is for those ready to go all in.
If you’re willing to study, plan, and apply what you learn,
you will build a professional studio from home
that sounds as good as (or better than) most commercial spaces.
“The challenge you’ll face is immense but if you want to compete with the best of the best from home, this is the path. I’ve taught at four universities. I know how expensive and overwhelming real studio training can be. That’s why I built this.” -Ken Candelas

Success Stories
"It was honestly mind boggling how different things were after leaving Ken’s class. Ken was informative, patient, and thorough in the way he teaches.
Matt - Audio Engineer
"I used this studio construction project as a way to plan out my home studio, pick gear, and to make sure it was all within my budget. It was hard work and had a lot of moving pieces, but once it was done, I was happy with my choices. Going forward, I like to use my experience as ways to help others create their ideal home studio and not break the bank doing it."
Blake H. - Music Producer
"Thank you for not gatekeeping this information! I've learned so much from Ken. He breaks down information in a way that I can understand plainly but intelligently."
Aaron - Music Producer
