Mixing & Mastering A Full Metal Album
Does This Sound Like You?
Bad on Other Speakers
Your mix sounds fine in headphones, but on monitors or in the car, the low end turns to mud and vocals disappear.
Weak or Boxy Drums
You're great at singing but can't play guitar. Or you write melodies but struggle with drums. Your tracks always feel incomplete because you can't get the elements right.
Buried or Harsh Guitars
Guitars are either too loud, too dull, or vanish behind the drums and bass—never sitting right in the mix.
Mastering Still Sounds Amateur
You try to “master” your mix, but it ends up too quiet, too harsh, or crushed with no impact.

The energy is gone. What if you had a clear, repeatable system to mix and master your entire album confidently—from the first track to the final master?
What if you could create the album you hear in your head, not in years, but in just days or weeks? What if you could stop obsessing over EQ moves and finally say: “This sounds massive. This sounds professional. This is done.” That’s exactly what this course is here to help you do.

Success Stories
"I’ve bought a dozen mixing courses but this is the first one that actually showed me how to properly mix and master an album, not just 1 song"
- Brandon, Mix Engineer
"My band self-recorded our album, and thanks to this course, I was able to mix and master the whole thing myself."
- Jason, Solo Artist
"I used to be terrified of mixing. Now it’s just another step in the process. And im actually better than I thought at it. The clarity I got from this course is insane. Even when working on demos with my band, it makes a huge difference in letting us get a better vision of what the song could sound like"
- Andre, Guitarist
"I’ve been mixing for years, but this course filled in so many gaps I didn’t know I had. My latest release is my best yet without a doubt and it is in no small part because of this course"
- Evan, Musician
" Right away I felt better knowing somebody besides me mixed entire albums in a single session. Alex does a great job articulating why this is a much better and more streamlined way to mix multiple songs than doing the "song-per-session" method. Additionally, I enjoyed learning Alex's personal preferences when dealing with huge trackcounts (150+) and I took some things away that I started to implement in my own sessions. Also, really good job making something out of nothing with that guitar tone, this was a great demonstration of how to make it work even without the DI files–that was good. The most important aspect that I took away was how Alex does his automation and to really get a sense of how his ear works in order to create the best listening experience for the song as possible. There was a lot of automation, but his explainations made sense and every time I do automation now, I keep his methods in mind in order to make the most exciting listening experience I can for the songs I'm working on. Oh and obviously, nice job on the mastering portion, covering both digital and CD–that was particuarly helpful for me as I still get folks that want to have a "CD Master". Definitely a great course to grab so that you can see how all of the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Again, another HUGE benefit of mixing all the songs in a single session. 🤘🏻"
